Position Summary:


Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II for The Undergraduate Admissions Office within The Division of Enrollment Management at Rutgers University–New Brunswick ( EMNB ). The position reports to the Director of International Admissions.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Represents Rutgers University-New Brunswick to an international audience of students, parents, counselors and other affiliates.
  • Assists in the coordination of the office's events and communication initiatives and provide critical support for other projects as necessary.
  • Travels abroad to conduct information sessions, presentations, and counseling sessions at high schools, colleges and other facilities to meet students, families and school/college personnel for the purpose of recruiting and enrolling international students.
  • Communicates and develops relationships with high school and university personnel, internal Rutgers academic and administrative units, alumni, etc., in coordinating recruitment activities.
  • Assists with the coordination, administration and implementation of recruitment/enrollment events or programs and with the development of event and program marketing materials and other communications for target audiences.
  • Prepares reports, reviews applicant data, creates and maintains databases, conducts web research, organizes mailings or emails, and performs related duties as needed.
  • Assists and supports on other projects as needed.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least (2) years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
