The Hall Lab at the University of Birmingham is recruiting a Research Associate to support early-life gut microbiome research. The position is based in the Department of Microbes, Infection and Microbiomes, under the leadership of Lindsay J Hall, Chair of Microbiome Research and Group Leader. The research focuses on microbiology, including work with anaerobes, in vitro host assays, and microbiome experiments. The role also involves sample and data organisation and wider lab coordination, making it ideal for candidates who are highly organised, detail-focused, proactive, and strong team players.

This is a fixed-term position until March 2028, located in Birmingham, UK.
