Assistant Professor Position in Energy/Environmental Engineering at LNMIIT Jaipur
The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT), Jaipur, a NAAC ‘A’ Grade accredited deemed-to-be university, is inviting applications for a regular faculty position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical–Mechatronics Engineering, with a joint appointment at the LNMIIT Centre for Sustainability and Innovation (LSCI). This position is focused on candidates with expertise in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or closely related fields such as Renewable Energy, Sustainable Energy Systems, Power Engineering, Energy Storage, and Disaster Management.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. from a reputable institution in the relevant area, along with a first-class M.Tech./M.Sc. and a first-class bachelor's degree. A strong academic background, relevant teaching and research experience, and proficiency in English are required. Preference will be given to candidates with a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. The compensation package follows the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) guidelines, with a starting basic salary of INR 68,800 for Assistant Professors, and total annual compensation (CTI) ranging from approximately INR 15,10,748 to INR 16,80,804, depending on experience and HRA eligibility. Additional research support and incentives are available for faculty members.
