Candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with the group of Professor Hamid Kachkachi at the University of Perpignan, and benefit from travel funds for attending schools, conferences, and potential extended research stays abroad. The research is motivated by the significant applications of magnetic nanoparticles in medicine, biology, chemistry, and nanotechnology, and aims to address fundamental questions about the preservation of nanoscale properties in macroscopic assemblies. Applicants should hold a Master's degree in physics or materials science, ideally with a focus on condensed-matter physics and magnetism. Experience with analytical and numerical methods is essential. Language proficiency at least at the B2 level in the thesis language is required.
