Postdoctoral Fellowship in Bioimaging, Biosensing, and Biosystems at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
The Interdisciplinary Research Center for Biosystems and Machines (IRC-BSM) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researcher. The position focuses on bioimaging and biosensing at microwave and terahertz frequencies, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience in microwave and optics laboratories. Research areas include, but are not limited to, bioinstrumentation, biosensors, biomechanics, bio-robotics, wearables, telemedicine, brain-machine interfaces (BMI), genomics, personalized medicine, clinical informatics, biodata integration, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, drug delivery, and 3D printing.
Applicants must have earned a PhD within the last 2–3 years from a university ranked in the QS World University Rankings top 500 or other reputable institutions, and must demonstrate excellent research records. The fellowship offers a competitive, income tax-free salary, 30 calendar days of paid annual vacation, a housing allowance, medical insurance, access to several campus facilities, office space, computing resources, and other benefits. Postdoctoral fellows may also have the opportunity to teach 1-2 courses per academic year.
