The PSDF | Mein Digital Empowering Educated Rural Women program is a pioneering digital skills initiative aimed at supporting women from rural Punjab, Pakistan. This six-month, instructor-led online training is designed to equip participants with essential digital skills, including English language proficiency, content creation, digital marketing, product development, e-commerce (Shopify & Daraz), freelancing, digital financial literacy, and soft skills. The program is tailored for women who have completed at least 16 years of education (Bachelor's or Master's), are aged 21–40, and reside in rural districts of Punjab.

Selected participants receive a desktop computer (valued at PKR 150,000) and a six-month internet subscription to facilitate their learning from home. The program also provides a monthly stipend of PKR 5,000 (or PKR 2,500 for lower assessment scores) and an additional internet and device allowance of PKR 7,000. The training is delivered through user-friendly digital platforms, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for rural women. Continuous mentorship, career guidance, and support for freelancing and e-commerce are integral components, empowering women to achieve financial independence and contribute to their communities.

Eligibility criteria include being a woman resident of rural Punjab, aged 21–40, with a minimum of 16 years of education. Applicants must pass an online assessment test to qualify. The selection process is merit-based, with shortlisted candidates receiving desktops and internet access for the duration of the program. Participants are required to maintain at least 80% attendance and complete all modules and assignments to receive certification and stipends. The program emphasizes responsible use of provided resources, with equipment remaining the property of PSDF until successful completion.

The initiative supports the Chief Minister's vision for women empowerment, digital inclusion, and economic growth in rural communities. It offers a structured pathway for women to learn, grow, and earn from home, with opportunities to become digital entrepreneurs or pursue remote work. Certification is awarded upon successful completion, enhancing employability in digital and entrepreneurial fields. The program is fully funded, with no tuition fees for selected participants.
