About this position
The University of Bayreuth's Doctoral Programme of Experimental Geosciences has received the DAAD Graduate School Scholarship Programme (GSSP) award, offering up to two fully funded PhD scholarships for international candidates starting in 2026. At the scholarship start, applicants must have completed a master's degree or equivalent in Earth Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, or Material Sciences with above-average grades. Applicants must not have completed a doctorate previously. Strong written and spoken English skills are required, preferably documented by language certificates.
