Call for PhD Students and Postdocs: Tools of the Trade Article Proposals in Chemistry Springer Nature Group in United Kingdom

Nature Reviews Chemistry, part of Springer Nature Group, invites PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to submit proposals for 'Tools of the Trade' articles. These short articles (under 400 words, one image, no citations) focus on custom-built tools, methods, or instruments used in chemistry research. The aim is to explain why the tool is needed, how it works, and what information it provides, with an emphasis on tools that are not standard laboratory equipment. Submissions must describe tools whose use is already documented in published research; unpublished data is not accepted.

Eligible applicants are current PhD students or postdocs working in chemistry-related fields. Articles must be single-authored, and applicants are advised to consult their PI before submitting. The deadline for proposals is tomorrow at 12pm (noon), UK time.
