Niklas Hedin is looking for a motivated candidate to develop new liquids and adsorbents for less expensive and safer CO2? capture from flue gases from biomass combustion.

You would be joining Niklas Hedin's team and the SSF-funded ACCELERATE project, working alongside a fantastic, multidisciplinary team (shoutout to Jiayin Yuan, Belén Martín-Matute, Christophe Duwig, and the rest!).

What's required

Applicants must have a master's degree or equivalent in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or physics, including at least 60 ECTS credits at advanced level and a completed independent project of at least 30 ECTS credits. Documented subject knowledge relevant to the research area, analytical and creative thinking, initiative, independence, teamwork skills, and proficiency in spoken and written English are required. Selection is based on ability to benefit from doctoral education.
