My research focuses on architectural building heritage in the West African context, and I use digital data scanning technologies and social participation methods to engage local stakeholders and create a digital database of historical and culturally significant buildings and landscapes in West Africa. While there is space for the candidate to design their own research questions and themes, focus areas and approach will need to align with both CAMD’s interdisciplinary PhD framework and my larger project framework and regional focus. Successful candidates will be partially funded through my startup.
