About this position

The SMART Lab at Indiana University Bloomington, led by Professor Byung-Cheol Min, is recruiting 1-2 fully funded PhD students (Spring/Fall 2026 start) and 1 postdoctoral researcher (immediate start, up to 2 years) in the areas of multi-robot systems, human-robot interaction, and robot learning. The lab is part of the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, a leading institution in robotics and intelligent systems. Research in the SMART Lab focuses on developing new algorithms and systems for collaborative robotics, exploring human-robot interfaces, and advancing robot learning techniques. Students will have opportunities to develop independent research agendas, collaborate with faculty and peers, and contribute to cutting-edge projects. The postdoc will also mentor graduate students. What's required
