About this position
We are recruiting PhD students at London Business School!
We are recruiting PhD applicants in marketing for next academic year!

Two of our current PhD students recently presented their research at the Association for Consumer Research Conference in Paris.
Meiying Wang talked about how missed opportunities influence subsequent consumption. She discussed how the magnitude of missed opportunities affects whether individuals feel motivated or demotivated, as well as the psychological processes behind these divergent effects.
Özlem Tetik discussed framing future environmental threats either in terms of the date by which the threat materializes (e.g., water shortages by 2040) or in terms of the number of years left until the threat (e.g., water shortages within 16 years). Despite the more common use of date frames, time-left frames make threats feel closer in time and are more effective in garnering engagement and donations.
It was also good to meet up with some of our PhD alumni Nazli Gürdamar Okutur Aylin Aydinli Selin Göksel and Stefano Puntoni
