The Micro and Quantum Systems (MQS) group at Aalto University, located in the Micronova nanofabrication facility, is seeking a new PhD student to join their rapidly growing team. The group conducts cutting-edge research in quantum computing, quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, and quantum simulations, blending theoretical and experimental approaches. Research topics span from nanoscale transport phenomena to the development of quantum technologies and nanotechnology-based green energy solutions.

As a doctoral student, you will work on projects at the forefront of quantum computing, including quantum optimization, quantum simulations, and real-world implementations on advanced quantum computers.
