Requirements
Applicants must have a Master's or PhD in environmental sciences, hydrology, or a related field from a recognized university. A minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental modelling is required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent knowledge of processes controlling the behaviour and transport of chemicals in the environment, strong programming skills in Python, and preferably other languages such as R, Fortran, or C. A solid understanding of mathematical concepts and numerical modelling, strong scientific writing skills with a publication record, and the ability to work in a project-driven, multidisciplinary environment are essential. At least C1 level English communication skills are required, and knowledge of Dutch or willingness to learn is a prerequisite. Priority is given to applicants from the Netherlands.
