Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Sustainable Feed Processing and Animal Nutrition Aarhus University in Denmark

The Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Aarhus University is seeking applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in Processing and Development of New Sustainable Feed Sources, starting October 1, 2026. The successful candidate will join the Monogastric Nutrition (MONU) research section and focus on feed processing, evaluating process techniques, and developing sustainable feed ingredients for animals, with collaborative opportunities in human nutrition. The role requires expertise in biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields, with a strong interest in animal nutrition and process technology. Experience in extracting and modifying biopolymers, process optimisation, and understanding structure-function relationships is essential. Candidates should demonstrate skills in experimental design, data analysis, scientific communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration. A strong research profile, teaching and supervision experience, and leadership in research projects are highly valued. Non-Scandinavian candidates must be willing to learn Danish.
