Postdoctoral Fellowship in Microalgae and Microbial Bioprocessing at Amity University (ANRF-N-PDF 2026)
Applications are invited for the ANRF National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF 2026) to be hosted at the BioRefinery & BioEnergy Research Laboratory (BBRL), Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a PhD awarded or thesis submitted in Science, Engineering, or Medicine, who are interested in advanced research on microalgae, microbial bioprocessing, and related biotechnological applications.
The research themes include integrated microalgal biorefineries and process intensification, microalgae-yeast and microalgae-bacteria consortia for enhanced productivity, carbon capture and utilization (CCU) through microbial platforms, wastewater treatment and waste valorization to biofuels and high-value bioproducts, and pilot-scale bioprocess development for sustainable biomanufacturing. The BBRL offers state-of-the-art experimental infrastructure for algal and microbial biotechnology, translational research with pilot-scale process development exposure, strong support for high-impact publications, and mentorship towards independent research careers and academic leadership.
Eligibility requirements include Indian citizenship, a PhD/M.D/M.S degree or thesis submission, at least two published papers, and an age limit of 35 years (with relaxations for certain categories).
