About this position

A great opportunity to work with one of my world-renowned colleagues!PhD Scanning in the Public Realm: PhD Scholarship: Scanning research in the public realm - University of Huddersfield Professor Nic Clear’s scanning research has already demonstrated use as a documentary and interpretative tool in the field of artistic research and partnership working with cultural/heritage sites. This PhD proposal presents an opportunity for a doctoral researcher to work with Professor Clear on various scanning projects in the public realm. The aims and objectives outline the proposed work strands that will inform the design, delivery and production of the project outcomes. It is intended that this will be a practice-based PhD, which is informed by place-based making and public realm working. The practice components of the project will be informed by the creative collaborative knowledge and cultural exchanges between works of art/design/architecture in the public realm.
