?? The Project:
Funded by the DFG, this project focuses on developing epigenetic circuits that enable bacteria to store and process information. You will work in the group of Prof. Dr. Nicole Radde and collaborate with Prof. Albert Jeltsch, using quantitative dynamic modeling to design, analyze, and optimize these artificial memory systems.
?? Your Role:
? Develop mathematical models for epigenetic circuits
? Analyze and integrate multimodal biological data
? Implement models following FAIR principles
? Collaborate with experimental & clinical partners
? Publish and present your findings at top conferences
?? Your Profile:
? MSc in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related fields
? Knowledge in dynamic modeling, inverse problems, or stochastic processes
? Interest in interdisciplinary life sciences research
? Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, R, Julia, or C++
? Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
