Developing a meta structure based sensor for structural health monitoring
Position 2:
Developing advanced bridge safety monitoring using vehicle mounted sensing
Scholarship Details:
• Starting at $54,000 (tax-free!)
• Additional taxable research assistantships available on a case-by-case basis (including paid demonstration and marking)
• Funded travel support for national and international conferences
Eligibility Requirements:
? A Bachelor’s degree with First-Class Honours from UNSW or another recognised institution; OR
? A completed Master by Research with substantial research experience and a demonstrated capacity for high-quality research; OR
? A Master’s by Coursework degree with a substantial research component, demonstrating the ability to conduct independent research.
Who Should Apply?
?? Candidates who have graduated within the last five years in relevant fields of Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or who can demonstrate continued research engagement if longer).
