Universitas Andalas (UNAND) in Indonesia is now accepting international applications for Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs across a wide range of disciplines, including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Humanities, and more. The university offers fully funded and partially funded scholarship options, with the fully funded scholarship providing a comprehensive package: 100% tuition fee waiver, free visa and air ticket (initially paid by the student and refunded after arrival), free dormitory with utilities, a free Indonesian language course for nearly one semester, a free study permit for the first year, and a monthly allowance of 2 million IDR. The research environment is robust, with strong university and supervisor research grants and excellent opportunities for publishing research papers.

Applicants for Master's and PhD programs must identify their relevant department and research interests, shortlist potential supervisors, and contact them for research supervision. The application process is open to international students with no age or study gap restrictions. IELTS is mandatory for all applicants, with a minimum score of 6.0 required for the full scholarship. Academic requirements include a minimum GPA of 3.50/4.00 for the full scholarship, with lower thresholds for partial and tuition fee scholarships. Doctoral applicants must also provide at least two Scopus-indexed journal publications and written supervisor approval.
