Description

The Subramaniam Lab at Florida Atlantic University’s Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute is seeking highly motivated PhD students to join their research team. The lab focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s and Parkinson’s, with particular interest in Rhes, SUMOylation, protein-protein interactions, and neuron-to-neuron communication. Students will have the opportunity to work with advanced genetic models, proteomic profiling, and live imaging techniques. The lab is located within a world-class neuroscience hub on FAU’s Jupiter campus, offering collaborative opportunities with researchers at FAU, Scripps, and the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience. The program emphasizes multidisciplinary training in cell signaling, behavior, and translational neuroscience, and provides supportive mentoring and career development. Interested candidates should apply through the Graduate Neuroscience PhD Program at FAU and may contact Professor Srinivasa Subramaniam for further information. Funding details are not specified in the post; applicants should consult the program for financial information.

Funding
