The Giamas Lab at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University is inviting applications for PhD and postdoctoral positions in the field of cancer research, with a focus on cancer cell signalling and precision oncology. The lab, led by Professor Georgios Giamas, is dedicated to advancing precision oncology through innovative research on the identification, characterisation, and therapeutic targeting of proteins and genes critical to cancer progression. Research areas include molecular and cellular biology, spatial -omics, bioinformatics, and the development of targeted therapies for cancer.

PhD studentships are open to UK/European applicants who hold or are on track to complete an MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant life sciences discipline by summer 2026. Postdoctoral positions are available for international applicants with a strong background in cancer biology and expertise in spatial -omics, cell/molecular biology, and/or bioinformatics.
