PhD and Postdoctoral Positions in Biomaterials and Neural Regeneration at IBEC (SPINECRAFT Project) Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia in Spain

The Biomaterials for Neural Regeneration Group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is offering exciting opportunities for highly motivated candidates to join the ERC Consolidator Grant SPINECRAFT project. Two positions are available: a postdoctoral position (via the Beatriu de Pinós Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026) and a predoctoral (PhD) position (via the FI Joan Oró Predoctoral Fellowship 2026). Both roles are strictly linked to competitive fellowships and will focus on cutting-edge research at the interface of biomaterials, neural regeneration, and advanced human-relevant models.

The SPINECRAFT project aims to advance the field of neural regeneration using innovative biomaterials and state-of-the-art bioengineering approaches. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic research environment, contributing to impactful research supported by the European Research Council (ERC).
