The INSPIRE project, an NSF-funded collaboration between the University of Idaho, the University of Montana, and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, is recruiting a Ph.D. student to work on the ecosystem impacts portion of the project. The student will focus on integrating field measurements with ecosystem/biogeochemical modeling to implement climate-smart land management in Inland Northwest forests and agricultural fields. Desired skills include fieldwork experience, ecological modeling, data analysis, coding (R), and manuscript writing, though not all are required.??
