I am excited to share that we are now recruiting for a fully funded PhD position exploring how human decision-making and AI interact in the early stages of engineering design.

We are offering a fully funded PhD position at the intersection of:
?? Human-centred design
?? Artificial Intelligence in decision support
?? Cognitive science and behavioural research
?? Strategic International collaboration ( University of Strathclyde and Politecnico di Milano )

You will work on pioneering research, equipping you with a unique interdisciplinary skill set.
You will work under the supervision of Dr. Andy TC Wong , Dr. Ross Brisco and me at the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management, University of Strathclyde . This project is part of a strategic collaboration with the Dipartimento di Meccanica - Politecnico di Milano team, led by Prof. Niccolò Becattini and Prof. Gaetano Cascini , who are hiring another PhD student working on this project. The international relevance is also enhanced by a relevant ongoing collaboration with Dr. Kosa Goucher-Lambert from the Co-Design Lab ( https://lnkd.in/d_RJjJkp ).

Funding details

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
