Additionally, the PhD student will design and implement a pump-probe optical spectroscopy setup to investigate ultrafast carrier dynamics in these materials, providing insights into photon/electron interactions and the fundamental mechanisms behind nonlinear refraction and absorption. The research environment offers access to modern facilities and a collaborative team with expertise in optics and materials science.
