King's College London is offering two PhD studentships for outstanding doctoral candidates interested in Nigerian history and the history of Nigerian industries or entrepreneurs in the 20th and 21st centuries. The Wordsworth Blackwell Mather studentship supports research in any aspect of Nigerian history, while the Jimoh Akitola Odutola PhD Bursary focuses on the history of Nigerian industries and entrepreneurship. Both studentships are funded bursaries that cover full-time domestic tuition fees for three years, with the UK tuition fee for 2025/26 set at £6,600 for the first year (MPhil/PhD, History Research).
