The myeloid malignancy team at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is hiring for two research positions in New York City. The group, led by Assistant Professor MD Babu Mia, focuses on the intersection of single-cell genomics, translational oncology, and artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on myeloproliferative neoplasms and related blood cancers.

Position 1: Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Scientist
Applicants should hold a PhD in Immunology, Hematology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with immunological assays, drug toxicity studies, and molecular studies. Experience with next-generation sequencing is strongly preferred, and a strong publication record is considered a plus.

Position 2: Research Scientist / Associate Scientist
This role requires a Masters or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative discipline. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in computational biology, clinical data analysis, or similar translational applications. The team is particularly interested in candidates who can integrate AI into genomics and clinical research.

The research group is committed to building tools and generating insights that have a direct impact on patient care for those with blood cancers.
