About this position

The Smart Transducers and Vibration Laboratory (STVL) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is hiring two Postdoctoral Fellow researchers. The openings are in Robotics and Biomedical devices, making this a strong fit for candidates with backgrounds in robotics, biomedical engineering, mechatronic systems, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, or related interdisciplinary areas.

The lab, led by Professor Zhengbao Yang, focuses on energy conversion, frequency response, vibration phenomena, smart transducers, wireless sensors, actuators, energy harvesters, piezoelectric materials and devices, damping, nonlinear vibration, low-power circuits, and mechatronic systems. The group highlights applications in IoT, structural health monitoring, wearable devices, and healthcare technologies.

Applicants are asked to send a CV and a brief summary of research interests by email. The post does not list a deadline, salary, or other funding details, but it clearly indicates that the positions are open now. If your research interests align with robotics, biomedical devices, smart sensing, or vibration-based systems, this is a relevant postdoctoral opportunity at HKUST.
