Join the Center for Cellular Cancer Therapy (C3T) at Karolinska Institutet for a postdoctoral position in adaptive immunity and tumor immunology. The C3T is a leading research constellation funded by the Swedish Research Council, focusing on advancing cellular immunotherapies against cancer, especially solid tumors. The research environment is international, interdisciplinary, and collaborative, with access to state-of-the-art facilities in molecular biology, cell culture, animal models, flow cytometry, and imaging.

Two research groups are seeking postdoctoral researchers: Antonino Cassotta's team (antigen-specific human T cells, TCR sequencing, genome editing) and Yenan Bryceson's group (cytotoxic lymphocyte differentiation, transcriptional regulation). Projects include characterizing tumor-reactive T cells, TCR repertoire analysis, and developing new approaches for cellular therapy of advanced cancers. The work involves advanced molecular and cellular techniques, including cell culture, genetic manipulation, flow cytometry, (single-cell) RNA-seq, and animal experiments.

Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent), strong scientific background, and hands-on experience in relevant methods. Required skills include first-author publication, human cell culture, cell sorting, molecular biology, and knowledge of immunology and cancer immunotherapy. Desirable skills include T cell engineering, TCR analysis, RNA sequencing, animal models, viral vectors, CRISPR/Cas9, and computational biology. Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills are essential.

The position is a 2-year full-time contract with possible extension, funded by the Swedish Research Council.
