About this position

About the projectThe University of Cincinnati has been developing a suite of ultrasonic sensors for structural health monitoring in extreme, typically high temperature (550°C+) environments. The research has been sponsored by the US Department of Energy and industry. Depending on the candidates experience and interest, the projects may involve some combination of -fundamental basic research, -engineering design,-computer simulation, - electronics. Applicants will certainty be considered without experience in computer simulation or electronics. The research will involve laboratory experiments and real industry installations.Candidate requirementsNo specific background experience is expected, all training will be provided. You should have at least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Engineering or Physics. Applicants should have a GPA of at least 3.5 or first class degree.
