Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is offering a fully funded PhD position in Bioinformatics and Genomics through the Li Bioinformatics and Genomics Lab. The lab focuses on genomic FASTQ data analysis, pipeline development, and integrative multi-omics research. Students will work with large in-house raw sequencing datasets, including genome, transcriptome, methylome, and HPC resources. The lab is committed to trainee career development, offering strong mentoring and support. Responsibilities include analyzing sequencing data, developing new pipelines and software, conducting multi-omics analyses, reviewing literature, optimizing workflows, maintaining accurate records, presenting research, and adhering to deadlines.
