The PhD programme is a four-year, full-time, fully funded position starting in August 2026. The department encourages proposals in these and related areas, with flexibility for interdisciplinary approaches. Notable research centres include the Digital Innovation for Sustainable Growth (DIG), focusing on the intersection of digital technologies and sustainable business transformation.
PhD research scholars will benefit from a stimulating academic environment, close faculty mentorship, and active participation in seminars and workshops. The position includes 25% career-promoting work such as teaching assistance and offers pedagogical training. Scholars receive an annual salary of NOK 565,000 (approx. EUR 48,150 or USD 55,940), with possible increases for exceptional candidates and annual adjustments. Eligibility requires a five-year MSc degree in Economics and Business Administration or a comparable field, with a minimum average grade of B (4.0) in the Norwegian system.
