Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

The MSCA-DN TRANSCEND network, coordinated by Associate Professor Klaus Eyer at Aarhus University, is recruiting two doctoral students for cutting-edge research in multiple sclerosis (MS). The first PhD position focuses on deep-phenotyping of anti-lipid autoantibodies in MS at the single-antibody level, with collaborative research exchanges in Milan under the supervision of Dr. Daniela Latorre, an expert in autoreactive T cells. The second PhD position centers on functional multiomic profiling of circulating immune cells in MS, including a research stay at Amsterdam UMC with Dr. Gijs Kooij, a specialist in MS and inflammation. TRANSCEND is a transdisciplinary network aiming to revolutionize translational research for complex conditions, integrating science, philosophy, and patient-centered care. Applicants should have a relevant master's degree and a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, or neuroscience.
