Successful candidates will join a dynamic, international lab with opportunities for impactful research and international collaboration across academia and industry. The funding package includes a full tuition waiver (worth ~$40,000 USD/year), a monthly stipend of 30,000,000 VND (~$1,200 USD), and an additional allowance for research and teaching assistant duties. Financial support of up to $25,000 USD/year is available for 1-2 years of exchange and research abroad at partner universities such as UIUC, UC Berkeley, Cornell, Stanford, UCLA, Monash, and UTS. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Excellent classification or higher), demonstrate research experience, and submit a brief research proposal aligned with NLP. English proficiency is required (IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent), with conditional admission possible for IELTS 5.5+ (12 months to reach 6.5). All PhD students are expected to contribute as Research Assistants and Teaching Assistants. The program is conducted entirely in English.
