Fully Funded PhD Scholarships in Business Competitiveness, Innovation, and Sustainability at Universidad Pontificia Comillas
<p>The Doctoral Program in Business and Regional Competitiveness, Innovation, and Sustainability (CETIS) at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Comillas ICADE) is offering two fully funded PhD scholarships for outstanding candidates. CETIS provides a multidisciplinary research environment focused on business competitiveness, regional development, innovation strategies, and sustainability. The program is designed to equip students with rigorous academic training and real-world research skills, contributing to both regional and global sustainable development goals.</p>
<p>Students will benefit from access to excellent research facilities, mentorship from leading faculty, and opportunities for academic collaboration. The program is taught in English and emphasizes innovation as a critical factor for competitiveness and sustainability as a key element for future generations' well-being. Research lines include economy and territorial competitiveness as well as management of organizations and business competitiveness, with a strong focus on the Sustainable Development Goals.</p>
<p>The program is a joint initiative with the University of Deusto and IQS School of Management (Universitat Ramon Llull), and is part of the Aristos Campus Mundus 2015, which also collaborates with Georgetown University, Boston College, and Fordham University. Students may pursue the International Mention or Industrial Doctorate modalities. The program offers a variety of training activities, including research methodology, advanced quantitative analysis, academic writing, and international research seminars.</p>
<p>Applicants must have a strong academic background and a passion for research. Required application materials include a copy of national identification, curriculum vitae, academic transcript, cover letter, language accreditation, research proposal, and contact details for at least two references. The Academic Committee may require supplementary courses based on the applicant's profile. The program is in-person, with a duration of four years full-time or seven years part-time, and offers 12 seats per cohort.</p>
