Postdoctoral Researcher in Design, Architectural Technology, Architectural Engineering and Management of Built Environment (Prof. van Bezooijen)
The Free University of Bozen - Bolzano invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in Design, Architectural Technology, Architectural Engineering, and Management of the Built Environment under the supervision of Prof. van Bezooijen. This opportunity is part of a project at the Competence Center for Economic, Ecological and Social Sustainability (CCEESS), focusing on participatory design and visual narration to inspire and enable more solidary and sustainable modes of production and living.
The research aims to explore alternative collaborations and innovative practices that support sustainable and socially engaged production and living, with a particular emphasis on social interaction and citizenship-driven initiatives. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team at CCEESS, working at the intersection of architecture, environmental science, civil engineering, and urban planning.
The position is based at the Free University of Bozen - Bolzano, located in Bolzano, Italy. The project encourages creative approaches to participatory design and the use of visual storytelling as tools for social and environmental transformation.
Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field such as architecture, architectural engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
