Postdoctoral Position in Solar Physics at Nanjing University Suzhou Campus

A two-year postdoctoral position in solar physics is available at the Suzhou Campus of Nanjing University, China. The successful candidate will join the newly established Solar Physics Group and work on investigating energy and mass coupling processes in the solar atmosphere, utilizing advanced observational data and numerical simulations. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with the CHASE mission team and the upcoming 2.5-meter solar telescope team, providing a dynamic research environment in cutting-edge solar physics. This full-time, fixed-term contract offers a monthly gross salary between CNY 20,000 and 24,000, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and research experience. On-campus accommodation may be available for eligible appointees. The working language of the team is English, and the research group is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers with expertise in solar data analysis and/or numerical simulations. Applicants must hold a PhD degree (or be expected to obtain one before the start date) in Physics, Astrophysics, or a closely related field, and should have no more than three years of postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.
