About this position

A great chemistry PhD opportunity with one of my fellow ARC Industry Fellows! Ronnie is doing some very novel and creative synthesis, making molecules with funky shapes that can do all kinds of important things for agriculture, like reduce harmful sprays, mimic nature, kill weeds selectively, etc etc . Well that is the gist of how I understand it but if you’re interested you’d better get the story from Ronald Brown

There are so many varied opportunities for chemistry graduates these days, we need more clever people to pursue chemistry degrees. Choose Chemistry, people!

We have a position available for a domestic candidate to undertake a PhD in chemistry at UOW in relation to an ARC Early-Career Industry Fellowship awarded to myself in collaboration with Bayer CropScience (Germany). This scholarship requires an Australian or New Zealand candidate, with 1st Class Honours (or equivalent) and a mid-year (2025) start. Any interested applicants are welcome to contact me via email ( [email protected] ). Please circulate or communicate to any relevant parties.
