Funding
The fellowship is fully funded and covers a monthly stipend (€650 for participants from abroad, €1,200 for participants from Germany), round-trip airfare, accommodation, monthly public transport ticket in the host city, health insurance, and visa fees. The program does not cover costs for accompanying family members. Funding is subject to approval by the German Federal Foreign Office.
How to apply
Select your country on the CCP application portal. Complete the online application form and upload all required documents, including CV and letter of recommendation. Prepare all documents in advance, as the portal does not allow saving drafts. Submit your application by 10 December 2025.
Requirements
Applicants must be at least 23 years old at the time of application and have at least two years of proven professional or volunteer experience in a civil society organization in their home country. A strong command of written and spoken English is required, as English is the primary language for the program and workshops. Applicants must be able to undertake a prolonged stay abroad. Current students are not eligible. Desirable qualifications include long-term social or community engagement, existing or planned collaboration with an organization in the host country, and additional language skills, particularly German.
