We are seeking graduate students for funded Ph.D. and Master's positions in the Energy Materials Research group (
NRGMATs
), Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the
University of Alberta
. The student will be expected to contribute to projects in green hydrogen production starting in September 2025. These projects will be conducted in collaboration with our partner at the
National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada
, the thin film deposition group led by Dr. Ken Harris.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for graduate students who possess the following qualifications:
- A strong academic background in material engineering and solid oxide physics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in electrochemistry and thin film deposition is a plus.
- Publication in prestigious journals is also an asset.
