PhD Scholarships: In DENDRITEPHASE project, we aim at understanding the causes and preventive measures for dendrite growth in Lithium-ion Batteries (LIBs) by using multiscale simulations, experiments and generative AI techniques. The research project is financed jointly by the NCN National Science Centre (Poland) and the Research Foundation Flanders - FWO (Belgium). Among several research positions, the project will support the study program of PhD scholars. I and Professor Nele Moelans are the Co-Principal Investigators of the project. We invite highly motivated researchers to apply for PhD positions organized jointly at KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium (for first two years) and The Silesian University of Technology , Gliwice, Poland (for remaining two years).
