I aim to nominate a candidate for the ERPE Joint PhD Studentship between Heriot-Watt University and The University of Edinburgh . The doctoral candidate will work around additive manufacturing, digital twin, and sustainability for energy storage batteries. The candidate will be placed at Institute of Mechanical, Process and Energy Engineering (IMPEE) , Heriot-Watt University and the project will be jointly supervised by Dr Amer Syed from the University of Edinburgh School of Engineering and industrial partner SAVEIONS LTD . The studentship will cover tuition fees and an enhanced 10% stipend in addition to standard UKRI rates.
