The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) "From Molecules to Organisms" offers fully funded PhD positions for highly motivated young scientists eager to explore the fundamental mechanisms of life. This world-class program is designed for those passionate about research in structural, molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, as well as bioinformatics, genomics, evolutionary biology, and related fields. IMPRS transcends traditional boundaries in the life sciences, fostering interdisciplinary approaches to complex biological questions and providing opportunities to work across scales—from molecules to whole organisms and ecosystems.

PhD students will join a vibrant research community at the University of Tübingen, the Max Planck Institute of Biology, and the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory. Eligibility: Applicants should hold a relevant university degree (typically a Master's or equivalent in biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, or related fields) and demonstrate proficiency in English. Competitive academic records and research experience are preferred.
