I’m seeking prospective PhD students passionate about exploring topics at the intersection of human mobility, socio-environmental sustainability, and social justice through cutting-edge data science research, particularly in urban contexts. Possible projects include:
1?? Investigating how interactions between diverse urban groups influence social cohesion and inclusivity
2?? Examining the relationship between urban mobility and environmental sustainability
3?? A combination of the above!
Based in the Geographic Data Science Lab within the University of Liverpool 's Department of Geography and Planning (University of Liverpool) , you’ll join a vibrant research community, gaining expertise in Python/R programming, large-scale digital trace data, network analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling.
I’m willing to support high-quality applications for PhD or MSc+PhD scholarships through the ESRC: Economic and Social Research Council North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP), and mentor you throughout the journey. If you are interested, please get in touch!
