About this position

We are looking for a PhD student for a project on how we can make theme parks inclusive for neurodivergent people. This will be in partnership with Drayton Manor Resort and Katapult | B-Corp Certified , jointly supervised by Peter Kraftl , Robbie Jones , Ollie Carr and me, funded by University of Birmingham | CENTRE-UB .

What's required

Applicants should have a first class or 2:1 undergraduate degree in social sciences (including but not limited to psychology, human geography, sociology, anthropology) or interdisciplinary studies. An MSc in a relevant area is desirable but not required. Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, engagement with non-academic stakeholders, passion for theme parks and visitor attractions, and knowledge or experience of neurodivergence are desirable.
