We are keen to investigate new formats of isogrid composite structures. This may include novel materials, manufacturing and analysis concepts. Some concepts:
- Integrated panel structures with out-of-plane thermoplastic composite isogrid reinforcements applied using Advanced Fibre Placement, overmoulding, 3D printing, etc.
- Large volume isogrid structure design, fabrication, and construction with novel technologies such as crawling robotics, self-supporting structures, thermoplastic forming, joining, overmoulding and 3D printing.
