Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemical Engineering and Nanotechnology at Sabancı University Sabancı University in Turkey

Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research & Application Center, led by Doç. Dr. Syed Farhan Hasany, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships. This opportunity is open to early-career researchers from all nationalities who wish to conduct research in chemical engineering, nanotechnology, or related fields at Sabancı University in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research by enabling mobility and interdisciplinary collaboration. Applicants must have completed their PhD within the last 8 years and must not have resided, worked, or studied in Türkiye for more than 12 months in the past 3 years. Candidates who have defended their dissertations but have not yet received their diplomas are also eligible. The fellowship is open to all disciplines, but the host specializes in chemical engineering and nanotechnology.

The fellowship provides a competitive funding package, including a monthly salary of €5,990 (adjusted by Turkey’s country coefficient of 64.5%), a €710 mobility allowance, a €660 family allowance (if applicable), and €1,000 for research, training, and networking support. The project duration is up to 24 months. The figures are based on 2025 rates and may be updated for the new call.

Applicants are expected to develop their own research project in collaboration with a supervisor at Sabancı University.
