Applicants must hold a university degree (Diploma/M.Sc.) in physics, materials science, chemistry, or a related field with above-average grades. Profound understanding of solid-state physics and thermodynamics is required. Ideally, candidates have experience with semiconductor and insulator materials. Desirable skills include experience with Mössbauer methodology, in-situ experiments or other nuclear spectroscopy techniques, system set-up, electronics, vacuum systems, cryogenics, or high-power lasers. Good knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, C++) for data analysis and preferably instrument control languages (e.g., LabView, Simatic STEP) is expected. Experience with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Origin, Python libraries) is advantageous. Good communication skills, fluency in English, and willingness to participate in international collaboration are required. Evidence of qualifications must be provided by certificates and references.
