Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) at Jönköping University, Sweden, is inviting applications for four fully funded PhD positions in Business Administration. JIBS is recognized as one of Europe’s leading business schools, holding triple crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) and is highly ranked for its research productivity and impact in business administration and entrepreneurship.

The PhD program offers a dynamic and international research environment with a focus on entrepreneurship, ownership, renewal, strategy, governance, and organization. Research topics include entrepreneurship and sustainability, family business and ownership, strategy and governance, new technologies and media, and the societal transformation driven by these factors. The program is designed for candidates aiming for an international academic career in business and entrepreneurship research.

PhD students are employed full-time, with 80% of their time dedicated to research and coursework and 20% to teaching and administrative duties. The positions are fully financed with competitive salaries and offer opportunities for professional development, teaching experience, and international exposure. The start date is September 1, 2026.

Applicants must hold (or be close to completing) a Master’s degree with at least 240 ECTS credits (minimum 60 at the second-cycle level) and at least 90 ECTS credits in Business Administration. Fluency in English is required.
